Gavin Pinkerton and Frazer Ewart won the SYBA Pairs final on Saturday 13 June -
The District finals were hosted, as usual, by Willowbrae.
Maureen Brotherston and Harriet Munro lead nearly all the way against a Mother and Daughter pairing from Summerside. Unfortunately they did not mange to be ahead at the finish!
The S.W.B.A Championships, 4th Round District 05, (Qualifying to go to the national Championships at Ayr) were held at Leith Bowling Club on Sunday 14 June and Willowbrae had entries in The 4 Bowl Pairs, The Fours and the Senior Fours.
Dorothy Cunningham, Grace Macgregor, Margaret Moffat and Anne Skirving. Did win their match, which was also against a Summerside Rink.
Evelyn Campbell, Jean Denholm, Helen Shaw and Anne Barclay ran out clear winners against a Rink from London Road Foundry.
